Male Stripper Business Owner Charged with Sexual Assault in Canberra

In a recent development in Canberra, the proprietor of a male stripper enterprise faces charges of sexual assault dating back to 2023. The accused, hailing from New South Wales, stands accused of assaulting a woman during a visit to Canberra for an event hosted by his company in July 2023. The incident allegedly took place in a hotel room in Dickson post the event.

Authorities claim that at the hotel, the man engaged in sexual assault against the woman and surreptitiously videotaped her and another woman without their explicit consent. The matter was brought to the attention of law enforcement in 2024, leading to a search warrant being executed on March 13 at the suspect’s residence in Camden, NSW. Following his arrest, he was brought before a court in NSW where his extradition to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) was sanctioned.

The accused is set to appear in the Magistrates Court on March 15, facing charges of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent. Law enforcement encourages individuals with any relevant information about this case or similar incidents to step forward. Additionally, support services are available for those affected by sexual violence, including reporting to the police or contacting the Canberra Rape Crisis Centre.
