Australia is set to launch a groundbreaking National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) in July 2025, as announced by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. This initiative will utilize low-dose computed tomography scans to detect lung cancer in individuals at high risk, even in the absence of symptoms.
